• The FRP outer wrap reinforces the branch connection, which is typically the highest-stress point in a composite pipe system, with additional hoop and axial strength beyond what the CPVC liner alone would provide.
• This construction allows FRP-CPVC pipe runs to include branch connections without stepping down to a lower-pressure-rated, unreinforced fitting at the branch, maintaining consistent pressure capability throughout the system.
